Competence Centers

For the first time, Mecspe will give space and visibility to the Italian Competence Centers wanted by the Industry 4.0 plan and by the Ministry of Economic Development to accompany and support companies towards the fourth industrial revolution by presenting at the exhibition, six of the eight Italian Competency Centers (ARTES 4.0 – Pisa, BIREX – Bologna, CIM 4.0 – Torino, MADE – Milano, SMACT – Padova, START4.0).

Solution Award

The 4th edition of the Solution Award focuses on the ability to propose more effective and interactive uses, the use of information and data, traceability, and quality and performance control. Full extension of the 4.0 paradigms that are the main standard-bearers in collaborative robotics is therefore encouraged. After extensive research, technological transfer, and the absorption of new technologies, the time has come to propose your own robotic solutions for the “Intelligent Factories”.

Planning and Design Area by Materioteca

Materioteca® will treat MECSPE the theme of the ecology of turnover, or how to develop companies through environmental protection. As usual, in the area will be exposed a rich collection of artifacts, materials and description of technologies and services of the latest generation: examples of circular economy, waste materials, services that facilitate the closure of cycles, value chains that improve impacts and many other innovations including 3D printing of recycled materials. Industry experts will guide visitors to showcase the latest industry news.

Industrial Safety Square

The Industrial Safety Square is the place where Ambiente Lavoro and MECSPE meet and deal with the issues related to safety at work in the industrial sector, with particular reference to the manufacturing industry.

MECSPE is along with small and micro enterprises with the Startup Factory project that, in cooperation with Gellify (a high-tech B2B start-up innovation platform) offers the opportunity to introduce themselves to a wide audience from the manufacturing industry.

Digital Factory 4.0 Road Maps

The objective of the Digital Factory Labs The “DIGITAL FACTORY, the Italian way for industry 4.0” project and its workshops follow a road map that began in 2017, with the aim of crossing strategic territories travelling along the path to join the National Industry 4.0 Plan.
