Mecspe will give space and visibility to the Italian Competence Centers

For the first time, Mecspe will give space and visibility to the Italian Competence Centers wanted by the Industry 4.0 plan and by the Ministry of Economic Development to accompany and support companies towards the fourth industrial revolution by presenting at the exhibition, six of the eight Italian Competency Centers (ARTES 4.0 – Pisa, BIREX – Bologna, CIM 4.0 – Torino, MADE – Milano, SMACT – Padova, START4.0).

The main objective of the area dedicated to the Competency Centers at the fair is to allow a matching between the visitors of the event and the Competency Centers that will be able to show orientation activities, training and innovative projects in the domain of industry 4.0.

The focus of  the area:

  • Cyber security
  • Digitalization
  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Robotics

will be expressed in a program of conferences and technical insights and in a demo area where the different competences will present the projects they have developed with companies

A new interactive exhibition format

The initiative will consist of a central area where training sessions will be held by the Competence Centres themselves and their partners, a demonstration area where each Competence Centre will be asked to present a part of its pilot project as an example, and an exhibition area where the Competence Centres will be able to illustrate their offerings to visitors.
