TMP, Associazione Italiana Tecnici Materie Plastiche (Italian Association of Plastics Technicians), proposes again at MECSPE the initiative of a thematic square with some of its member companies: plastics manufacturers, moulders and moulders.
THE MAIN THEME OF THE SQUARE
This time the main theme is “Business and Training“, explored by the association and its associates through technical speeches for companies on the themes of materials and design activities, which will be held during the 3 days of the exhibition.
In the framework of the same theme, TMP is organising a demonstration area in the Piazza where, thanks to the presence of a HAITIAN press (Zeres series by Zhafir) and the relevant hot runners by YUDO, it will be possible to witness the moulding of a MUG cup in Coffeefrom, a thermoplastic material based on renewable raw materials, specifically coffee grounds of industrial origin and PLA, formulated by the company Nexeo/Nevicolor. The press itself will be serviced by a Hilectro (a company of the Haitian group) Cartesian robot for picking up and depositing the cup.
The MUG follows the coffee cup project already produced at Coffeefrom the idea of the Il Giardinone cooperative together with Bear Plast, a mould maker, who are also the creators of this innovation.
To crown the activity, on Thursday 9 June, again in the Piazza, the protagonist companies talk about the details of the project.
On Friday 10 June, the Piazza hosts the ‘TMP Degree Award – Training Meets Business‘, which aims to reward young graduates with dissertations on plastics. The award ceremony wis also an opportunity for a discussion between industry and academia through a round table that highlights the importance of collaboration between these two worlds.
