SADEV Industries is a French and international industrial player specializing in the design, manufacturing, and assembly of high‑precision gears and transmission products. Born from a passion for motorsport, SADEV was founded in 1974 by Benoit Vincendeau. The company quickly established itself as a key reference in the design and production of competition-grade transmissions, and is now recognized as the global leader in this market. Half a century later, in 2024, SADEV Industries was created, marking the company’s diversification by bringing together the expertise of renowned specialists in precision mechanics.


A union of expertise
The flagship brand, SADEV Racing Transmission, is supported by VADP, a production unit in Portugal, and a commercial subsidiary in the United States, strengthening its global presence.
The group expanded with the acquisition of Billard Engrenages, which has developed nearly 80 years of recognized expertise in gear manufacturing and spiral bevel gear grinding, along with its subsidiary T.A.M in Tunisia. SADEV Industries has continued to strengthen its industrial capabilities with the acquisition of Sérodem, a precision bar‑turning company, and Bessin Rectification, a specialist in high‑precision grinding. Both companies are located in Normandy, in France, and bring additional expertise in precision mechanics, further enhancing the group’s ability to meet demanding technical requirements. These entities stand out in strategic sectors such as aerospace, petrochemicals, rail, energy, and defense.
