Italian employment will rise again in 2022, reaching 60.1% according to the latest Istat data. This is an encouraging sign for our economy, which is facing quite a few turbulences in these very months. In this scenario, companies continue to need to hire new specialised personnel, update resources with skills that are able to anticipate, understand, and keep up with the industry’s digitalisation and innovation needs.
The latest MECSPE Observatory showed that skills are important to 53% of entrepreneurs in the manufacturing sector and around 25% plan to hire, or have already done so, staff with adequate preparation to implement the 4.0 transformation, while 48% have already trained their existing staff.
