UCIF: Innovation in surface treatment
Founded in 1973 under the name of Unione Costruttori Impianti di Finitura (UCIF), the association represents more than 50% of the Italian production of machines and systems dedicated to surface treatment (paint/paint-stripping plants and machines, application plants and machines, washing plants and machines, shot-blasting plants and machines, vibratory finishing plants and machines, air/water purification plants, handling systems, automation and robotics, vacuum surface treatment plants).
UCIF is affiliated with ANIMA, which represents the mechanical engineering sector in Confindustria. The relations with ANIMA ensure UCIF wide visibility in the international scene, attendance at industry events and greater collegial strength. Every two years UCIF organizes S.M.A.R.T. (Surface. Manufacturing. Advanced. Research. Trends.), the conference that aims to present the latest trends in the sector.
