Milan, June 2017 – After the amazing success of the 2017 edition, which recorded record numbers, with 45,817 visitors (+ 15% compared with 2016), with 2,051 companies present , MECSPE, the reference fair for the manufacturing industry 4.0 promoted by Senaf, keeps track of its audience’s satisfaction in relation to the next event in Parma, scheduled for 22-24 March 2018.
This is a new edition that is expected to have an excellent following, given the positive opinions of those interviewed this year: almost 8 out of 10, in fact, judge their experience as satisfactory, and 72.6% of those who had already participated noted an improvement of the event. Many opportunities made available by the event, considered useful or interesting from 74.9%, starting from the product range, appreciated by 72% of the sample, along with the opportunity to learn about market news (78.9%) and to visit customers, suppliers and competitors (48.8%), specified as the main objectives behind participation. “We are currently in a good economic situation for the Italian economy, which is also involving the mechanical and subsupply sector” comments Emilio Bianchi, Senaf Director. “The latest ISTAT data indicates a clear turnaround, dictated by the growth in Industrial turnover of 7.2% compared to March 2016 and in particular by the excellent performance of machinery (+18.3%), symptom that the Calenda Plan 4.0 incentives are beginning to pay-off. In an increasingly competitive and digitalised market, MECSPE’s growing numbers are a tangible sign of this trend and the willingness of companies to be an active part of the ongoing transformation, through physical encounters with the market, real experiences, in which to invest their time, to form and build relationships: factors that this trade fair currently at its seventeenth edition and its Digital Factory Workshops can give.”
And precisely the “MECSPE – DIGITAL FACTORY, the Italian way to Industry 4.0” project will continue the roadmap started this year with the aim of crossing the strategic territories that are adhering to the 4.0 National Industry Plan and to explain what companies are actually doing. Three approaches to MECSPE 2018, dedicated to the combination of innovative materials and applications such as “Plastics and Automotive”, “Aluminium, Titanium, Magnesium and Motorsport”, “Composite Materials and Aerospace“, which will create debate between businesses, institutions and local associations.
Stories of the themes of the “Digital Factory 4.0” will culminate in the three days of the Parma trade fair, with special initiatives and a whole pavilion to exhibit its versatility and potential application.
